Our Services
Barrio Dog Training offers a variety of dog training services for you and your dog. We cover basic to advanced obedience as well as problem dog behavior.
We offer training through individual sessions and packages. All training is done on an individual basis (no group classes).
Owners must provide proof of current vaccination before training begins.
Puppy Socialization
Early puppy-hood is a critical time for socialization and learning. Puppy specialization class can help your puppy reach their full potential! Each week, for 5 weeks, we will meet in a different location and expose your puppy to new stimuli. Puppies must be fully vaccinated to attend this training.
Basic Obedience
An introduction to obedience for puppies and adult dogs. In the beginner class, we work on basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stand, Watch Me, Settle, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, and Come. Also impulse control, socialization, and strategies for handling unwanted behaviors will be addressed.
Intermediate Obedience
Building on Basic Obedience training, the intermediate class focuses on reinforcing commands leaned in basic obedience, heeling, and increasing distance, distractions, and duration.
Individual Sessions
Addresses common behavioral problems from house training, jumping, running away, digging, barking, crate training, pulling while walking and many others. Sessions can be purchased singularly up to as many as you need.
Tune-UP
Need to brush up on one or a few obedience commands? Tune-up is the perfect way to get help with areas you need a bit of work such as loose leash walking, heeling, come, stay, etc.
